Exec: Sberbank sees potential in IPOs of ecosystem firms in 3–5 yrs

MOSCOW, Dec 11 (PRIME) -- Russia’s top lender Sberbank sees a possibility of an initial public offering (IPO) in three to five years for Yandex.Market, VisionLabs, Rambler, Citymobil and Delivery Club, First Deputy Chairman Lev Khasis said on Wednesday.

“We certainly believe that some of the companies of the ecosystem have a significant potential, including for public floatation. What is important, we understand, that Sberbank has certain restrictions from the point of view of bringing to the market the firms in which it owns over 50%, due to the geopolitical stories, sanction regimes,” Khasis said.

“We are large, but not controlling shareholders in the companies with an IPO potential. I think such companies can hold an IPO during three to five years.”

According to the executive’s presentation, the cadidates for an IPO are marketplace Yandex.Market, money service Yandex.Money, biometry developer VisionLabs, delivery services SberMarket and Delivery Club, taxi service Citymobil, media holding Rambler and online cinema Okko.
